Did You Know?
Sloths cannot walk—instead, they spend most of their lives hanging upside down in trees! These fascinating creatures are mostly nocturnal and sleep for around 15 hours a day. Despite their slow movements on land, they are surprisingly strong swimmers and can hold their breath for up to 40 minutes!
With every piece I create, my goal is not only to inspire and entertain but also to educate—embedding fascinating facts like these directly into my artwork.
For this “Sloth with a Red Flower” piece, I carefully selected words like funny, lethargic, and snoozing, along with phrases such as “upside down,” “strong swimmers,” and “can hold breath for up to forty minutes.” In total, you’ll find over 35 words and phrases hidden throughout this artwork, each one celebrating the quirky charm of this slow-moving but lovable animal.
Every piece of my art is digitally hand-drawn, one letter at a time, with no word or phrase ever repeated. Depending on the complexity, each artwork takes between 6 and 60 hours to complete.
I truly hope this piece brings you as much joy as I had in creating it!
