Did You Know?
The tale of “the boy who wouldn’t grow up” and his rivalry with the infamous Captain Hook has become a timeless part of our culture. Even those who aren’t fans of the classic animated film can appreciate its themes of adventure, imagination, and the magic of childhood.
With every piece I create, my goal is not only to inspire and entertain but also to educate—embedding fascinating details like these directly into my artwork.
For this Captain Hook piece, I carefully selected words like crocodile, ticking clock, and lost boys, along with phrases such as “never-ending childhood,” “away we go,” and “dreams do come true.” In total, you’ll find over 50 words and phrases hidden within the design, each one celebrating the magic and wonder of this beloved story.
Every piece of my art is digitally hand-drawn, one letter at a time, with no word or phrase ever repeated. Depending on the complexity, each artwork takes between 6 and 60 hours to complete.
I truly hope this piece brings you as much joy as I had in creating it!
